Why would I not want this to happen? Is my pc not capable of downloading the 100 MB?
Some people still have only a limited bandwidth, a limited amount of megabytes or gigabytes they're allowed to download on their subscription. Going over this maximum, they'd have to pay extra.
Added to that, the text doesn't say it's only once 100MB, it says that there are tasks (plural) which require you to download 100MB or more. So imagine you have a 2GB bandwidth limit (up+download) from your ISP, and you would get 20 of these tasks....
Does you mean that you think my computer might be able to handle the download/uplad - you didn't say that, I know, but the problem is with my internet service?
I will have to check with Comcast to see if they care. May as well bother everyone about it ;)...
I like to think that somebody else out there might have the same questios.
I have two tasks now (Aricebo); one is more than 36 hours to complete and the other about 34. Where would it tell me how many MB's this is, or the MB's involved in any task?
It started out I was just interested in what "pending" meant. An answer always leads to another question...

I can't answer that as I don't know what kind of package you are getting from your internet service provider.

That warning is mostly intended for people on metered (pay per GB) service. In the US it's typically limited to 3/4g wireless internet or satellite service. If you're on a conventional cable/dsl/fiber internet plan it shouldn't be an issue.

Also there will be another round of Gravitational wave tasks to follow on from the current S6LV run.
