Task reported but still shown as "in progress"

Hi, I just started to use BOINC. It downloaded four tasks, computed them and sent back to the server for some days now. But on the server these tasks are still marked as "In progress". Is that ok? Reports from other users who seem to compute the same task the same day are shown as "Completed, waiting for validation".

Have those tasks completely disappeared from your computer or are they still shown as "Ready to report"?
Uploading of BOINC-project tasks is a two-step process. First the raw data transfer (upload) and then registering with the server database (reporting) of hopefully more than one task at a time, because reporting of multiple tasks has the same impact on the server as that of a single task.

Hm, I switched interface to English and, yes, it is "Ready to report". This completely changes things because in Russian translation phrase looked like "Waiting for server confirmation" and I thought it just awaits for some activities on server. Now it is clearly fault of client, not of server. I restarted BOINC and tasks immediately got reported. Don't know why they didn't before, though. Thanks for helping.
The BOINC client will report

The BOINC client will report tasks at the first of:
1) 24 hours after completion.
2) 24 hours before the report deadline.
3) Connect Ever X before the report deadline.
4) 60 seconds after completion if the task completes after any of 1 - 3.
5) On any work request.
6) On a trickle up message (CPDN only)
7) On a trickle down request (I don't know of any at the moment).
8) On a server scheduled contact.
9) On an Account Manager requested contact.
10) When the user presses the update button.
