Hello,
I tried to figure out which tasks run on CPU on the server page but I don't see it there. Does anyone know if there is an overview and where that is?
I don't like the FGRP2 fro CPU as they take 26 hours to complete. So set them of in the Einstein preferences page, but now I do not get any more work for CPU but see plenty of BRP4 and BRP5.
Thanks

Task for GPU or CPU?

Anything with CUDA and OpenCL in the version description is GPU.

Thanks Jord that is a nice overview.
It makes it strange that I am not getting CPU tasks. Well Rosie will benefit.

If you have disabled the FGRP2 jobs there are only BRP4 left for the CPU.
Maybe you have the "Run CPU versions of applications for which GPU versions are available" set to "no"? This would prevent you getting CPU BRP4 jobs.

Yes indeed you are right I have that set as you suggested.
But I have that for almost a year so and I did get BRP4 CPU WU's. GPU versions of BRP4 are no longer available.

That seems strange. If you had that setting to "no" you should not get CPU BRP4 work. I have always had it to "no" and never gotten anything but GPU BRP4 work. Maybe the flag only works for machines with a GPU, and you have had machines without GPU? (just a guess)
If you set it to "yes", do you get BRP4 for your CPU then?
No, never machines without a

No, never machines without a GPU. But I tried what you said and it worked! I have now BRP's running again, so thank you for the tip.
Perhaps I was mistaken with a setting, as the Einstein@home project normally does not have such glitches. It is a very reliable project and for me the test case to check if BOINC works correctly.
