Suspending network activity - user request

    When starting my computer I receive message as follows:
    12.10.2005 10:24:15||Suspending network activity - user request.
    When trying to attach to new project, the result is:
    12.10.2005 14:22:25||Already attached to http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/.

    So, what to do?

      Open BOINC Manager and look under the File menu. There is an item labelled "Disable BOINC Network Access". You may have somehow checked this option inadvertently.

        Stick, I was just about to post on this one, same suggestion you just made, and I had a hunch to refresh and check if someone else had already picked it up and there you were! You are right on top of things, giving a lot of help, and doing a good sales job on the 0.18 app, too. Good work!

        I'm on the Boinc test client, and not sure about the button layout on 4.45, since I've never used it. It looks like Aslak is on a broadband net connection. Is there a button on the 4.45 manager for "Network activity always available"?
