With CasA 1.05 I started with remaining time 10h. It went to 7h elapsed and 3h remaining with 5% done. Now after 11.5h cpu time, remaining is 2.5h with 33% done. This has been going on with Einstein tasks for just about a few weeks, not before. Does not happen with SETI. Any hints?

Could this be the first CasA search WU that is running on your PC? (you might have received only FGRP or BRP tasks before that).
BOINC needs to learn how fast your PC executes the different types of workunits. The numbers you posted seem to indicate that at first BOINC thought that the task would take just 10h, which was too optimistic for your PC. Now that the task is taking obviously longer, BOINC tries to adjust it's model of the task runtime on your machine. After a few such units, the internal model will be good enough to predict the runtime accurately up front.
