Still can't load BOINC

Is that dot at the end of the URL correct? Meaning, is it there? If so, take it out.

Also try attaching without the trailing /.

Mike, Copy all the startup

Message 5335 in response to message 5334

Mike,

Copy all the startup messages so we can see the actual error message and whatever else BOINC is doing. Timestamps and all.

You can xxxxx out the hostid if you don't want people to know which ones are yours, that should be the only "private" info shown. But the messages up to the ones with the error all help point to the problem. Might be easier to stop and restart BOINC so they're "fresh".

Do you have a proxy/firewall/router that may be misconfigured. Some personal firewalls must be configured to allow each application access to the internet.

Brian, make sure there is no space at the beginning of the box you paste the project url in or the box you paste your ID# in, I've gotten errors like that before and all it was is that there was a space before the url & ID# ... Try that & see what happens ... :)
