Hi, With the BOINC Manger, all of my project processes will suspend with with the message "Suspended - computer is not in use.". Problem is, the computer is running. I just haven't been using the keyboard or mouse for a minute or so.

My Computer Info is as follows:

Macbook Pro (14-inch, 2012)

M1 Max, 10 CPU, 32 GPU, 64 GB RAM 1 TB HD.

macOS Monterey version 12.1,

Thanks

Possibly you have a

Possibly you have a preferences setting you don't like.

For the web site preferences configuration, log in here at Einstein, then:

Account|Preferences|Computing

Click the "show comparison View" link at bottom right

Review the value for: Suspend when no mouse/keyboard input in last  nn minutes

across all four columns.  If they all say 0 minutes, I've guessed wrong as to your problem.  If any of them don't they may mean the location (aka venue) for your host is set to possibly save a bit of power by suspending BOINC when you are not actively interacting with the machine.

That is not the default, so likely it got set sometime in the past.

I'm not sure what will happen if you are over-riding the web site preferences by using location preferences set directly in the BOINC manager.

Actually, you were right. I

Actually, you were right. I don't see that setting in the BOINC Manager preferences but I do see it in the settings on the web. The setting had a 1 in it. Changed it to 0 and updated my BOINC app and all seems well now.

Thanks

Glad that worked for you.  Thanks for reporting back.  It helps if someone else comes upon this thread with a similar situation.
