HP Prodesk 400 G5 SFF boxes

HP Prodesk 400 G5 SFF boxes are great. i5-8500 6-core CPU. Undervolted stable to 100mV via Throttlestop on Windows 10 21H1. 100mV is quite stable, 120mV if you don't mind performing adjustments as you see which eventually crash, should be a small percentage.  Stack them 10 high, 60 3.8GHZ cores! Cheap on eBay when schools and businesses are dumping them. One can make quite a CPU farm with stacks of these..

Dell OPtiplex SFFs are good too as well as other Prodesk iterations with an i5-8400 or i5-8500 however only the 400 G5 I can guarantee being able to downgrade the BIOS successfully in order to unlock Undervolt. I want to amend that to a VERY Merry Christmas!

Hi George,

I have PMed you, but I will also respond in this forum.  Thanks for the kind words and I congratulate and thank you for using your own funds to support your professional responsibilities.  I am sure that your students benefited from your generosity.  Indeed, that is a major reason why I do it!

TY for saying that! It is my goal to show that large things can be accomplished with finite resources. Funds for my farm gained from Doordashing and the like. Together, we can change the world! - Bill Nye?

If are standing up a farm or a fleet this maybe helpful.

Looks like AnyDesk has a limit of 3 for free? 100 devices for 'Solo' at $23 per month, Have to upgrade to 'Standard'$36 per month to have 500,

Chrome Remote Desktop is 300 per email. Just use 2 gmails if you have over 300. https://youtube.com/shorts/ZhpFqLqvo4E
