I recently upgraded to Vista (32 bit). Xeon 3060 CPU @ 2.7ghz, 2gb Ram, Nvidia 7600GT video card, RAID 0, 4gb readyboost, etc. Very fast computer. Well, the Einstein screensaver which used to run very smoothly in animating the rotating globe now show what looks like one frame every few seconds, and there is no "smooth" rotation with the pointer moving around the globe like I used to have on the same exact setup under XP pro. All in all pretty unusable. Seti hums along just fine. I do have the latest Nvidia drivers installed but I can't figure out why the screensaver is so bad...
any help???

So this is a known issue with Einstein & Vista... is that what you are saying?
It's a known issue with BOINC

It's a known issue with BOINC 5 and Vista.
BOINC 6 with the new 4.26 application will work together. Trouble is, BOINC 6 isn't out yet for the general public, it's only in alpha test.
