My ISP looks fine but just this morning since around 8am the downloads of new files are very, very, very slow. I notice a build in the available tasks so am I just observing a coincidence that a bottleneck is somewhere out there?

Slow downloads or is it me

Obseved slow download is for BRP4 only. It's taking 5-10 minutes for each 4MB packet.

Same for me, in fact, the GPU

Same for me, in fact, the GPU is processing so fast, the work is queued up waiting for these very SLOW KBps rates, some as slow as 9KBps (per BOINC). Then you get retry and backoff for hours, and the GPU is just waiting. I CAN manually "retry now" get the log jam freed up, and work units running....but all by itself - nope. The 4mb files run real slow. Hay as I type, one PC reports 6.63KBs for a 4mb file and the other 4mb file is reporting 14.35KBs.

Well at least I'm not alone.

Well at least I'm not alone. It is getting progressively worse and worse. Last night I ran out of all work with three BRPs backing off for 6 hours or so and waiting for download.

I also observe that BOINC doesn't clean up the 100% complete list as frequently so I might see 8-12 100% listed whereas a month ago the 100% was reported quite quickly. It is almost as though BOINC is corrupted in perhaps the newest version versus the older version. For me the problem began early September and has been ongoing since then. I use 6.12.33 (x64).

Is a reinstall in order?

Hi!

Oct 3rd was a national holiday in Germany where most of the admin work is done for BRP4, I'm sure the project staff will look into it on Tuesday.

Sorry for the inconveniences & thanks for your patience.

Has been stuck for a long time ... can someone see how long it took from start of downloaded to end ... it took at least two hours to download very small dat file. I forced the reload a few times.

Thanks in advance for looking at it.
