I've been checking the network trafic that E@H does to send and recive the results and I don't get it, it sends only 1 to 5Kb, and recives the same, now is it not too small for a work unit?
It also uses only 4Mb of RAM. I'm not complaining :), it's just that I'm used to have more of my recourses taken by the similar projects. I think that the average user can handle more, or maybe you can install an option in which we'll be able to choose amount of RAM used, of course, if increse will help you.

I've checked the memory usage in this moment, the application is using about 12 MB of RAM, whilst is using the 95% of CPU capacities (every other daemon is idle, except for a running application). For what it concernes the network traffic relevant to BOINC activity, I can't say anything at the moment.
There is a BOINC add-on that permits to allocate CPU capacity, in order to prevent overheat, if BOINC is always running, but I've not found anything about memory allocation. I think however that critical resource is CPU calculation capacity/time, the program is not using heavy amount of RAM.
Maybe my suggestion is not true, but is based on the fact that credits alghoritm is based exclusively on Drystone and Weatstone tests and process time of the WU, characteristics that are almost influenced by CPU calculation capacity.

It sends once a big chunk of ~11MB. That's the data for the next WUs. Afterwards there is only a small exchange of bits via the net. Until the big chunk is squeezed out. Then another ~11MB is needed. (Or less, if some of the several files in this first transfer are redundant.)
