I was finally able to download an S5RI to my number 1 machine will attempt another download to my number 2 later today(Sunday).
Does this mean than your No. 1 machine is now working but your No. 2 still has the problem? If you do get just one machine working, you can actually transfer the files you need (not data or results files) from the working machine to the non-working machine locally without having to re-download them from the project. This includes not only the executables (.exe, .pdb) but also any sun, earth, config, etc, standard files giving the signature error.
Sorry about the time delay but work, school and sleep have priority.
I copied the config_S5R1, config_S5RI, sun, earth, .exe and .pdb files from my number 1 to my number 2 machine. I then reconnected to Einstien and as the attached message traffic shows, Einstein started downloading the .exe, .pdb files, skipped the earth and sun files, sent a data grid file, then failed the .pdb download for signature verification. This was done on Friday. Today Saturday I copied the .pdb file from 1->2 again. Tried to get a download but I recieved the 'Message from server: (reached daily quota of 1 results)' after reporting yesterdays download failure. So I will see what happens tomorrow.
One of the things that is annoying is that Einstien recognized that copies of the earth, sun, and config files were already in place but still downloaded the .exe and .pdb files.

I copied the config_S5R1, config_S5RI, sun, earth, .exe and .pdb files from my number 1 to my number 2 machine....
I've done this many, many times and it's always worked perfectly, with all unnecessary downloads being skipped.

The only thing I can think of is that you copied the older S5R1 versions of the executables rather then the newer S5RI versions. If the .exe and .pdb files had been there with precisely correct names then the download of those would have been skipped too.
Notice also that the download of the .exe must have worked correctly as only the .pdb was listed as failing signature verification. Something must be being corrupted in those relatively big and slow dialup downloads. You might need to mention this corruption to your ISP. Any chance of trying a different dialup modem to see if that cures it?

...I remembered this old thread...
perhaps your firewall / antivirus software is blocking the .pdb files?
