Yeah, I read Bernd's statement about that. From the practical point of view it's probably a good thing (I might reattach one or two of the slower boxes). But I still like the competition for record monster WUs ;-) so I'll, as you say, enjoy it while it lasts. Apparently my box is crunching two of them again but based on what my wingmen claimed they're "only" 658 credits aswell.
At least your wingmen claim something! I've had a 411-credit WU pending since 28 August and have gone through three wingmen so far with no luck.

Bad luck indeed. Your new wingman has just joined E@H with a C2D, so with a bit of luck you should get credits tomorrow or the day after tomorrow...finally!

WUs usually take the ol' iBook the full amount of time or close to it, so it's usually me someone's waiting on! I'm more than halfway through my next, which I think is a 470.
Well, one of the few people who often had to wait for my desktop CPU is Dr. Bruce Allen himself ;-) It's a bit different with the laptop, though... two cores, but both a bit slower, so while I get more credit my wingmen wait longer. Besides, I'm doing way too many projects atm...
Somewhat back to topic: I really seem to be getting nothing but biggies atm, 658 creds/piece. But I don't have deadline problems so I find it okay :-) as I said, there's a kind of competitive aspect to crunching bigger and bigger WUs...

LOL, I hadn't noticed what my wingman was running.
An ill-matched couple, indeed.

Do not worry, I am running a 470.73 credits WU on a PII Deschutes, also 400 MHz.
My wingman has an Athlon 2600+.
