    i have been running on the same computer for sometime, and now the seti project refuses to communicate with the server. einstein runs fine, but the seti refuses to download , all i get is " communication deferred" or " error downloading".. no other changes have been made, i am running the most current BOINC program. win XP Pro, firewall isnt an issue and is set to allow seti access.

      I guess this will be a server related problem over at SETI@Home. You will want to check the SETI@Home forums for help.

        I guess this will be a server related problem over at SETI@Home. You will want to check the SETI@Home forums for help.

        I am running Einstein, SETI and QMC. I would say that SETI works like a clock sending me a WU even before the preceding one is finished. QMC is more erratic, Einstein is OK. My shares are Einstein 300, SETI and QMC 100.
