I was wrong!!! Amazon sells Sherlock on DVD and Blu-Ray; AND, airs the show on Amazon Prime. However; if ordering on Prime to stream, it costs about $13 to view the entire first season. (Even though my mom pays for Prime; certain movies and TV shows are still on a separate pay basis.)
I might be able to get the streaming privileges in July for Season 1, and then later, (maybe August), stream Season 2.
If I had more expendable income, I'd buy the seasons on Blu-Ray. Oh well, someday...
@Timelord,
Save your money about season 1. There are only ever 3 episodes to each season so you have in fact seen all of season 1.
Spend your money on seeing 2 and 3. Currently I'm waiting on season 4's 3 episodes...

Why are they only doing three episodes per Season??? Doctor WHO gets six!!! From what I have seen, Sherlock is AWESOME! :-)
More good news! My local PBS station, (KQED), will be airing Season 2 on Masterpiece. Can't wait!!! (I really thought there were more episodes, than three, for Season 1.)
Catching up on stuff on the last day of work until August 7 (yes, I come back to work on a Friday).
Scott: might have something to do with PBS's contract.
Wrist BP cuffs: my mother bought one of those. One day I was feeling a bit crappy and high strung, so I tried it. I said my systolic was over 200.
Phil: just a general orange glow in the sky, or do you mean the Interstate heritage unit? (Or Jersey Central?) Oh, BTW, I will be in Ft. Wayne next month to ride the steam train to Lafayette (and back). I'm riding the Saturday trip. It's Diesel Weekend at IRM, but I don't care.
More Museum: got in a training day as student conductor with a different conductor than before. More educational about stuff other than operating the tailhose. Unexpectedly had the steam engine, but they got a late start, so our first trip wasn't until 2:20.
Speaking of the museum: they planned a charter trip on the Chicago L to raise funds to buy a pair of cars being retired. Then a contractor caused an embankment the tracks sit on to collapse, on the line to Skokie where they were going to start and end the trip. Postponed it at least once already, but CTA's not sure when the tracks will be fixed. I don't know why they don't just change the start/end point.
Seti: forgot that it's Tuesday. Outta here in 14!!! Need to catch up on my threads there.
Probably forgetting something.

[RANT] Sadly I hear rumors that Netflix is wanting to soil my experience with ads. I pay them to not give me ads. That's why I enrolled. To watch stuff without ads. No ads. Only what I choose, no more and no less. My money to them -----> no ads. Otherwise I'd be watching plain old TV etc at a fraction of the cost. No sneaky trials. No putting the toe in the water to see if the viewer market will tolerate. No boiling the frog slowly. The moment they put the very first ads on - even to promote other content and regardless of whether it hits my personal retinas - I'm outta there. Ads ------> none of my money to them. Not one cent. I'm not going to call them to tell them that. No signalling. We'll just see if they can get that out of their own heads. [/RANT]
Cheers, Mike.
( edit ) In case it was not clear : it is an insult for me to take on a vendor's financial risk/cost of advertising. That is their chance to take. I am not to contribute to the profitability of a company I have no contract with nor seek to. If I wanted that then I would buy shares in said vendor. If I didn't buy shares then I didn't want that risk. You can't slurp on both sides of the trough ....

That's a good question for which I have no answer. Maybe cause they tend to be longer (time wise) than a most show?
