We had a disk failure on einstein.phys.uwm.edu. I just posted a short news item.
We will try to get the project completely online asap. Unfortunatly it is Friday night right now in Milwaukee so it will likely have to wait until morning before the right people are here to fix the last problems.

We have gotten the project back up and running again. Total downtime was a bit more than seven hours. A couple of these lost hours were 'my fault' because I had to wait until after my kids were in bed before logging back in to coax the workunit generator back to life. A few sentences of detail are on the front page news.
Kudos and compliments to David Hammer for heading back to work at 7pm and sorting out a nasty hardware/OS interaction failure in just a few hours!
As far as David and I can tell, the project is now working properly. If you notice anything amiss, please post a note in this thread about it; we may have overlooked some details.
By the way, two days from now will be the anniversary of our official project 'going public' launch on Feb 19, 2005!
