I notice this morning that no one computer is receiving any new WU's. After manual update:
27/11/2006 08:18:18|Einstein@Home|Fetching scheduler list
27/11/2006 08:18:33|Einstein@Home|Scheduler list download succeeded
This is a problem because computer is not automaticly received new WU's. I have some computers without physical or remote access to them. I supppose that those computers won't download new scheduler list?

I believe the maximum communication deferral is one week (168 h), so even if systems are unattended they should be resuming contact with the project over the next few days.

Same here. I thought that the servers were undergoing maintenance until I checked their status - they are all "running". I have not received new WU's nor have been able to return my finished results. Something must be wrong "globally" for several people to be having the same problem.

Have you tried your update

Have you tried your update button?

The project had an outage of about 24 hours over the Thursday/Friday time period. This put many machines on a 1 week timer, so they are still counting down. If you hit your update button, this will reset that timer and allow work to report and download. I had to do that to a few machines, because they had an over 150 hour wait period.

Is that "timer" somehow related to downloading new scheduler list, because after last outage my computers doesn't automatically fetch any new wu's?

If BOINC repeatedly cannot connect to a project, it will download the Master File Page/Master URL again. This Master URL contains the location of the project's scheduling server and the project's data servers. With this URL, the BOINC Client Software reads the Web Page at this URL and locates the "hidden" addresses of the other servers.

If I am not mistaken the master URL download happens after 4 consecutive days of not being able to contact the scheduler.

Hmmm, I thought it was something like 5 consecutive failures when trying to reach the scheduler.
