I have change nothing: only got new WU - z1_1118.0.
Now I download speed to 2.8 GHZ, a now I have sequence: one valin one invalid.
09/05/2006 19:14:56|Einstein@Home|Unrecoverable error for result z1_1118.0__77_S4R2a_0 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005))
I have left 25 WU with z1_1118.0., then z1_0283.5 starts.
So I will continue to monitor results!
What about the temperature? Using everything the CPU has to offer, Akis' optimized clients produce more load than any average BOINC application.
On my CPUs the difference between QAH and S41.06 is 3° Celsius for example - and the days are fairly warm here already so a good case vent (actually more than one) is a must.
Maybe you could check with Motherboard Monitor or with an equivalent tool that came with the board. After replacing the damaged fan that was stuck in one of my boxes, it did not produce invalid results anymore.
I've got a dual processor P3 1.266GHz SSE2 machine that has been running S41.07 for a while now, both processors churning through the usual varying mix of Albert units. The machine is perfectly standard, no overclocking etc in any way.
Suddenly yesterday and today though it is showing the same sort of symptoms reported below, every Z1_1499 WU is crashing almost immediately (2.5 seconds) with the 0xC0000005 error. At the same time, in the mix there are R1_1291.5 units which are going through quite happily and validating.
This sounds like either a WU generation issue or a program issue rather than heat or anything similar.
Not seeing this on the other machines I've got running Albert, but then none of those are getting Z1 or R1 units in the same sequences. Something is going on here! Any ideas please anyone? Mike

Could you show me some results from your invalids?
in each of these cases there is what looks like a successful result in as well, from the same user running S41.06 on an AMD. Thanks, Mike
Akos, an update. The z1_1499 units seems to have run out, the machine is now getting z1_1349.5 units and crunching those quite happily. Unfortunately I didn't manage to grab any of the z1_1499 WUs while they were on the machine. Mike
Akos, I confirm this. Error shows up within first 2 - 3 secs, in my case (Northwood 2,8G) even earlier (0,5 - 0,7 sec) and it is in S40.06 code already.

Try to find out which cause has the highest probability.
Perhaps you forgot what did you change.

My computer is not now OC, and againg I have invalid WU.
So OC is not problem :)

I finaly finish z1_1118.0

I finaly finish z1_1118.0 sequence of WU. Now I processed z1_0283.5 and all results are ok an waiting for validation
