Run in seperate window? How?

OK, I just looked up your puters, you're using Windows? or linux on a windows machine?. Do you really have 3 Identical puters attached? Which Core client did you install 4.19?

Which Window are you taking about? The Boinc 4.19 client should open into it's own Window. In that window you should see the projects, work, transfer and message tab. I guess I need more info.

thanks

tony

I just looked through the Einstein FAQ section and don't see Run in a seperate window. Did you see this on the Boinc site?

Open the BOINC

Open the BOINC console.

Left click the Work tab.

Right click and select "View Graphics" to see the same info you see when the screensaver is running.

Is that what you meant?

Mouse and Keyboard Controls For Einstain@home

When the graphics are displayed in a separate graphics window (rather than as a screensaver) you can control the display with the mouse and the keyboard:

  • Mouse
    • Rotate: left drag
    • Zoom: right drag (up/down)
  • Keyboard toggles (keys)
    • Stars: S
    • Constellations: C
    • Observatories: O
    • Pulsars: P
    • Supernova remnants: R
    • Global grid: G
    • Search marker: M
    • Axes: A
    • Search information: I
    • Logo: L"

I don't see why you had to look up his "PUTERS".

One way to run a screen saver in a window is to open the BOINC folder and run the BOINCSCR.EXE file.
