I have read your release-note about CC 4.64. Inst. was no problem and it runs fine at the moment .
"show graphic" (and screensaver) don't work with the new CC 4.64!!!(only E@H-WU's, other WU's (seti,CPDN) are shown) on one of my boxes.
graphiccard: ATI PCI-Express XT800, 256 MB has this prob.
graphiccard: ATI Radeon Mobile 9700, 64 MB work without any problem with CC 4.64
Because I didn't know where to report this (and Seti-Forum is down at present), I posted it here. Maybe somebody can tell him.

I find no such service. I would send the screenshot from that but I don't know how .
Ich finde keinen solchen Dienst und wie ich den Screenshot von "Dienste" hier einfügen kann, weiss ich schlichtweg nicht.
Danke, dass überhaupt jemand auf dieses Problem antwortet ( hatte es schon anfangs Dez. bei PIR gepostet )
vielleicht noch in deutsch: Mit alpha-Clients(mit Ausnahme CC 4.57) kann ich keine E@H-Grafiken anzeigen lassen("show graphic" hat den Effekt als hätte ich nicht "geklickt" und der Screensaver ist gleich schwarz), alle anderen Grafiken (Seti, CPDN) erscheinen problemlos. Und es ist nur diese eine Maschine, Erstmals trat dieses Problem am 7.12.04 auf, als es anscheinend irtümlich eine Linux-WU (Lalane oder Yellow) zu crunchen begann. Für einen kurzen Moment erschien ein gelber Bildschirm, dann "hängte sich der Client auf". Seitdem kann ich keine WU's von PIR und jetzt auch von E@H mehr anzeigen lassen.
Mit CC 4.19 hätte ich diesbezüglich keine Probleme (alle GGraphiken lassen sich aufrufen), jedoch kann ich da die Projekte nicht "managen" (suspend,etc).

The "Allow service to interact with desktop" is only important if you installed Boinc as Windows service. I did not read in your posts that you did this.
But IF you run Boinc as service you can find it here: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> Find the "Boinc" service in the list of services -> rightclick and select "properties" ..... on the "Log On Tab" you find this option.

The communications between 4.6x and the graphics is slightly different than that between 4.1x and the graphics. 4.6x will not display the graphics for code compiled with the earlier libraries. The proof of this is that if you run the Alpha S@H WUs, they display correctly (new version of the S@H crunch program).

None of the projects whowed graphics (running 4.64). But Sebastian Masch's advice was very usefull, and now all the projects show graphics.
So, i don't think that there are problems with libraries that were compiled.
