I no longer have access to my original email address and I have given up trying to get account unlocked/enabled from Hotmail.  I think it's high time I updated everything Boinc related to a current one.

Is there a right and wrong way of doing this?

I am a bit confused where I need to change my email across projects.  Do I do it on each projects account pages (i know the original username and password i signed up with). or is it stored on every pc as I have clients running on several pc's (I have access to all of them).

The main problem I can see is how to make sure sure all my projects/synchronize at the same time so stats remain intact.

I think there may be an issue with one or two projects , Bitcoin utopia is no more and cant get to any project pages, Seti has stopped but I think project pages are still active .  I did read an Account manager can help but if I go to add an account manager from my Boinc client the  first thing it asks is email address - would I use the one that the  Boinc client is running , or new email address?

From what I can gather if you make changes in an account manager a validation email is sent, which if it is sent to original email address I cant get to.

Would like all my details to remain intact, and the stats across projects remain to one account and with the same team.  It took me a long time to accumulate my meagre totals for the retired projects, though if pushed not having Bitcoin wouldn't be the end of the world.

Apologies' if post is bit long and rambling,  any advice would be appreciated.

Yes you have to do it at each and every project unless you are already using an account manager like Bam.

So I  already have to have a BAM account, that's a shame.

I think I can get to the project pages for most projects , certainly Rosetta, Einstein, Milkyway which I  am currently running - GPGrid and hopefully Seti as well, might have to bite bullet and do without bitcoin utopia.  will leave in case there are any  more suggestions but planning on moving by the end of week end regardless.  I assume if it all goes horribly wrong i can undo by changing it all back to old email.
