    Since upgrading from BOINC 4.19 to 5.2.13 on an older computer I've experienced many problems. Can I uninstall 5.2.13 via the Windows control panel and reinstall 4.19 without loosing any work?

      I suggest you post your problems with 5.2.13 here. They are probably
      all solvable.

        Michael,

        Thank you for the suggestion but 4.19 was bullet proof on the old PC and I'd prefer to revert to it. I can chance the change when I've no work in progress.

          4.19 had its own bugs and issues, the "older version" on the BOINC download page (as opposed to the "recommended version" of 5.2.13) is 4.45.
