I noticed that I haven't got any WU's and apparently my BOINC doesn't want them. What is this message:
2005-09-01 14:23:11|Einstein@Home|Requesting 0 seconds of work, returning 0 results
For the last yaer I have had 99% of the workload set to Einstein and i just upgraded to the latest wersion (I didn't get any with the older one either)

I'm out of work units too, and apparently BOINC isn't retrieving any new work for Einstein (although it is for SETI, so I know it's not my client software).

Rocket Eddy found that the problem was other work waiting to upload.
I tried this and it works.
On the Projects tab, suspend all the other projects, except Einstein.
Then update Einstein. You should get some work.

Thanks Glenn, that worked for me.
Was able to get 3 wu's for now. Guess with the SETI problems lately (I have several wu's still trying to upload) this little bug got me.

Hi, I'm new to the project
)
Hi,
I'm new to the project (actually it's my first post ;o)) and was looking for 2 days why I didn't had some WU since the first 5 I've downloaded when switched to E@H.
I've looked through the forums and see that I'm not the only one.
I've done what was proposed here and it worked.
But, I was wondering (due to message in another thread) what meaning have the values of 'short_term_debt' and 'long_term_debt' XML node.
For info , here are the XML node for E@H and S@H from my 'client_state.xml' file :
E@H :
554.447256
-44002.732769
S@H :
0.000000
44002.732769
The fact that in E@H, 'long_term_debt' is blow 0, does it impact on the DL of new WUs, since for S@H everything is fine ?
I've haven't done more investigation on it, so maybe I'm totally missing the point here.
BTW, I should greet everybody working on this project. SO, GREETINGS !!!!

From Boinc Wiki:
Short term debt
Short term debt drives which project gets the CPU next if the CPU is in Highest Debt First mode. All projects with no work on the computer have a short term debt of 0. Short term debt is shifted for all projects so that the minimum debt for all projects that have active work on the Host is 0.
Long term debt
Long term debt is part of the decision of which project to download from next. If the long term debt is less than negative Queue Size no work request will be made of that project unless a CPU is idle. Long term debt is shifted such that the mean is always 0.
BTW, to know in an easy way the LTD and STD, there is a freeware called Boinc Debt Viewer, downloadable here.

Thanks you for yor answer, I will right away check the WIKI.
I'm not used to everything and still learning.
This must be a bug in BOINC
)
This must be a bug in BOINC 4.45. The debt of Einstein and LHC tends to be too high. In case you can't receive any WU the best solution is to clear debt with BoincDV. I've had a situation when almost every project I run went into debt!
