You really can't choose what files you get. You can try to get less work from the projects and choose to upload results imediately. What are your resources and what projects are you running.

You may want to go to your account page for the project, and select how often the computer receives files.
IE: If you select every three days, it sends more info/files for processs.
IE: If you select every day, then it will send less.
It is a different setting for each user or account and dependant on what your system can handle.
You can set preferences for home, work or school and when you sned your compledted result, the system will send you more work.
Check you account settings for home and make the changes as needed.
