    Im new to this, was able to get my amd athalon 2200+ to work, it had similar problems...but eventually it took a job to process.

    But on this computer it just would download, fail to create process, then eventually re-download and try again. Now its hit the daily quota of jobs to process, even tho all of them completed with an error.

    any idea whats going on?

      When you get a message like this, first try to reboot your computer.
      It seems as if a lockfile was locked into place, or for whatever reason, the Einstein cruncher kept on crunching even when BOINC wasn't started.

      But at any such time, try to restart the computer. This frees up memory that's locked and files on the hard drive that are locked.

      The quota of results possible to download every 24 hours is set to 22 at Einstein.
      With every result you return as an error, your quota goes down by 1. So at this moment you've reached your quota of results to download, it won't give you any more until tomorrow.

      When you start returning results without errors, your quota will be doubled per result returned correctly. 1, 2, 4, 8 etc.

      But for now, just reboot.
