I have noticed the same issue the last few weeks when watching the "Remaining Time", but it does correct itself and tasks are eventually completed and new ones downloaded. Was there some change in BOINC or how the tasks process recently? I have noticed that the "Gamma Ray Pulsar Search" tasks seem to have short deadlines, but take a long time to process. I am using BOINC v6.10.58
The Gamma ray pulsar search workunits have a different checkpointing behavior than the other apps. They update the "percentage of completion" less frequently, sometimes take longer to finish than the GW apps and have shorter deadlines because the scientists are eager to get back the results faster because its a new search that still needs some "babysitting" to monitor the processing.

For me, the time to completion only increases between check points; and at a check point, it decreases more than it has increased previously.
The same seems to be the case for your tasks, otherwise you wouldn't have reported a task today (24 Jul 2011 2:04:22 UTC). ;-)
