Hello
I've just started crunching again using the commandline client for mac osx. from the terminal I type ./boinc to get it started, and I do ctrl+z to quit the client but it does not kill the boinc master process. and i can't restart from the commandline without opening activity monitor to force quit the boinc master process.
what I'm asking is there a way to exit the client that also kills the boinc master process?
thanks!

Did you try any other key codes, like ctrl-c or ctrl-break?
Can you fork off the BOINC process (&)? Then you could use the boinccmd --quit command to stop it again. Or perhaps from the network?
[off topic]You'll have to remove the first slash in your signature to make it work:

though your userid seems out of order too, since the picture is empty.[/off topic]
