Project Weight doesn't change in BOINC resource share

Hello...I changed the project weight of 4 of my projects from 100 to 250 in order to prioritize things however this change is not reflected in the BOINC manager Project Resource Share for this and one other project. Is this to be expected? I am on an M3 Apple MBP running the latest OS.

Hi Bill (or do you prefer William?),
I have never used the "project weight" before, I've just always gone with Project Resource Share, and I've never gone more than 100, though I guess it is possible to go higher.
What are you trying to accomplish by using the "project weight"?

By weight I take it you mean resource share. A couple of things to double check. On the website, make sure you're changing the correct 'venue' i.e. School, Work, etc. that the computer is assigned to. Make sure to Save the changes on the website. Afterwards, in the BOINC manager, click on the appropriate project and click the Update button. If there are no communication issues, you should see the change.

Yes it's normal here at Einstein because they require you to click update from the pc that you changed the percentage or venue on before Einstein will update the website. I don't know why it's like that it just is, most projects let you make a change in venue, and percentage and it shows up on the website immediately and THEN when you update the pc it shows up there too.
BTW someone told me that 30,000 is the highest percentage number that works, I think you can put in higher ones but they don't get recognized as being above 30,000.
