Topic 195566

I have not been getting any work on my main crunching unit, I have 2. I hit update but I still do not get any WU's. I am thinking of hitting the Reset Project button to see it that helps. However, before I do I want to make sure it will only effect that computer and not both. I am fairly sure it will not effect the other computer but I want to make sure.

Any other suggestion as to why that machine is not getting work would be appreciated. Thanks.

Project Reset

Perhaps it's because it's cache is full up with work from Seti?

Perhaps it's because you may

Perhaps it's because you may have a fairly low resource share for E@H and you've already done more work for Einstein than that resource share allows. BOINC will not like to get more E@H work if there is a debt owed to Seti.

If you really want more E@H work, you may need to increase the Einstein resource share to allow it. Resetting the project is not called for as there doesn't seem to be a 'problem' that needs to be flushed away.

Cheers,
Gary.

I see the combination of

I see the combination of upgrading your drivers to 260.99, and maybe suspending a few Seti tasks, has got you a new BRP3cuda32 task,
it's a start, once your Seti cache has shrunk down a bit, you'll get Einstein CPU tasks again,

Thanks Claggy, I am surprised to see you over here at E@H you answered my questions over at Seti also.
