Now that seti has corrected itself Einstein is having problems connecting to servers. Might this problem be because I am in the process of changing from a cable LAN connection to a Dialup connection...a totally different ISP ??

Problems loading First it was SETI now it is Einstein
)
OK...Problem seems corrected....I took the suggestions of elsewhere in this forum to update my General Preferences....I found that the upload and download rates were blank so I plugged my dialup connection speeds in and now things seem to be working.

It's working because of the first action and not the second. If you fill in those UL and DL values, they simply act as a limit. By leaving them blank, the transfers will occur at the maximum speed of your link, without any artificial limiting imposed by you.
Cheers,
Gary.
