Hello,
E@H seems to have problems again. The sites responds very slow. I get errors (Download failed) when trying to get new tasks and at another computer (just started) I can not log into the project.
At this moment I find this sorry for my computer time and power use. With the last failure I have lost a lot of WU's because they where uploaded to the sites when the deadline was passed, howver the WU's where ready well in time but the project was down. For now I have taken off my computers of the project until it is working well again.
Greetings from
TJ

Problems again?

Sorry to hear that, and sorry for any inconvenience. A new version of the Windows app has just been released to fix screensaver issues, and this means that tens of thousands of hosts are trying to download the new binaries within a comparatively short span of time, causing some stress on the servers. This should be a very temporary effect. As for the deadline issue: because the outage last weekend was rather complete and affected all crunchers, I'm quite sure that most of your results (if not all) got credit and were actually used by the projects. It's not the results are automatically lost when they fail the deadline, only if they fail the deadline and a "substitute" result was issued to another cruncher and was completed before yours got in.

Thanks for this information

Thanks for this information Bikeman,
Now it is clear why the sites where slow yesterday and I got the error messages.(It was nice when that information was given on the main site, then I should not have had to complain.)
Just to give you some information: I got validation errors with my WU's that where sent in after the outage, but the deadline was passed. Some of mine computers do not run 24/7 especially when they are from work. And when I saw the outage was long, I put of the work-computers.
I will start the computers again for E@H.
