I have been noticing many brp4 errors on my systems like this one. The S6LV1 work seems to run fine. Instead of trying to figure it out, I changed my preferences to just take S6LV1 work, but for some reason, the preferences are being ignored, as I still get brp4 work.
Any suggestions?

problem with brp4 errors

Are you sure that you looked at all the settings that have a bearing on this? There are three:-
Run only the selected applications -
If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? -
Run CPU versions of applications for which GPU versions are available? -
In your case the easiest thing to do is set the third pref to NO. That would always prevent your host from getting new BRP4 work. If you just set the first pref to select only the S6LV1 app, you can still get BRP4 work if the second pref is NOT set to NO. From time to time the scheduler thinks (temporarily, it seems) that there is no LV1 work so it sends alternate work (BRP4 tasks) if it is allowed to. This cannot happen if the third pref is NO.
Cheers,
Gary.

Thanks, Gary, I set the second choice to NO and that did it.
