Hi,

I might be completely wrong about this, but I see the following team
creditcards-creditcards.com
listed as a junior college team.

Their listed website
http://www.creditcards-creditcards.com/
does not look like a junior college website.

Thought I'd post this here to get the attention of an administrator.

I suspect you are :-).

The owner is probably a student at a Junior College somewhere.

Would you really expect it to? The site creator is probably just horsing around and testing out his coding skills, since the site content seems quite innocuous.

Why do you label him as a spammer? His "crime" seems to be a desire to push other people's buttons by a provocative name choice. As a result he might get a lesson in the desirability of not giving too much provocation where the subject matter is a little sensitive :-).

He is a team of one and his old and slow computer is at least completing an occasional task. Unless you can actually point out some nefarious activity, it all seems rather harmless. His site will undoubtedly get many more hits as a result of the free publicity he has been given :-).

Cheers,
Gary.

I don't think I did.

There was a question mark in the title of my post and when I said I might be wrong about this, I meant it. It was up to one of the admins or someone knowledgeable to settle this. Thanks for your insight.

Sorry about the extra posts. There were some network connectivity issues and I pushed submit too many times. I couldn't find a way to delete the extra posts

I don't think I did.

You could have used something like "Unusual Team Name listed as Junior College Team" as your thread title. By putting "Spammer" in there you effectively labeled that team as a potential source of Spam. My immediate thought was to wonder if you had some clear evidence of nefarious activities, which is why I asked the question. I wasn't in any way implying any criticism for your action of drawing attention to the provocative team name. It's always good to have these things reported. I just wondered if there was more to it that I was missing.

That's no problem. All taken care of now.
