They claim to do a study about ravens and raven-like birds and their influence on other birds that have their nests on the ground.

In order to proove that it's the ravens fault that the number of ground breeders decreases, they try to "clean" a complete area from those ravens, using the traps that you can see on the pictures. This type of traps is illegal in germany.

The kill all ravens they can catch with a club. They do not only catch ravens but other birds too like buzzards, hawks, seed craws ... including protected ones.

Real scientists tell about studies that show, that all ground breeder eggs have been stolen at night, ravens sleep at night so probably weazles and foxes ate the eggs. Those raven birds really do eat eggs too but that makes only about 3% of their nutrition. Grassland converted to agricultural areas has a big influence on the decreasing number of groundbreeders too.

The "professor" who leads the murderous study is the president of the hunters community of lower saxony - a fact, that might explain his intention better than what he calls "science".
