I have a p5g41-m lx plus SiSoftware Sandra says I should be able to get 2.5 pcie bandwidth GPUz says I run at 1.1 . Sandra says check power management . I have checked and tried every thing - I would love to open up this bottle neck - thanks

I looked up your motherboard and chipset. The single x16 slot on the motherboard is a PCI-E 1.1 slot connected to the 82G41 chipset.
The new BRP6 beta application has less bandwidth usage between CPU and GPU compared to the previous versions of the BRP applications. You could turn the beta option on in the project preferences to see if there is an improvement in runtime with your GPU and motherboard.

Sandra meant your PCIe is running at "2.5 GBit/s", which is the speed per link according to the PCIe 1.1 specification. PCIe 2 is 5.0 GBit per second and lane, whereas PCIe 3 is 8 GBit with reduced overhead (so it gets about twice the useable bandwidth).
