He is probably running a so called "optimized" BOINC application. These are compiled seperately for each CPU type and yield better benchmark results. Thus
the high claimed credit.
A lot of information about optimized clients can be found over at S@H.
Hm. The host you mentioned is a Mac. Maybe the standard BOINC application reports such high values out of the box? I don't know. I have no Mac. But I know, that at least the default Linux application reports roughly 1/2 of the Windows one.

Ha, ha, ha! Laughing loud.
There is a big difference between a highly optimized client (which I use on my Opteron) and a faked client which computes an april fool like performance.

Whats your Result duration correction factor? One of my PC's is at 1.98179 and it's always asking for higher credit.
