Hi
I'm sort of new here just restarted.
I have a question on the files that are on my PC under the Einstein project. They are binary files and S6GC1 Files and others that have past dates on them . Do i need to keep these files or can i delete them . they take up over 200MB of Harddrive.

200MB isn't exactly much, seeing that you have 99.66 GB disk free.
But no, do not delete them. If need be, the Einstein project will tell BOINC to delete the files when it deems them no longer necessary. See this FAQ for more on that.
The project server should be

The project server should be sending messages to your BOINC client that tell it to delete files that are no longer needed. That facility works properly for me and others but maybe it's not working for you for some reason. I see you are running an up to date BOINC client so it should work for you.
It would help if you could get a directory listing from ...\BOINC\projects\einstein.phys.uwm.edu and post that list here. Then the experts can see which files (if any) should be deleted, what the names and dates are on those files and perhaps get some clues if the file delete mechanism is not working for you.
If that's too much bother then you could just abort and report whatever Einstein tasks are in your cache and reset the project. That should delete all Einstein files and resend only those you need.
