after the server came back online after being down I reported 8 tasks and got 12 new all of which bombed instantly. Rosetta was running prior to the start of these tasks. After these reported, the scheduler throttled me so Boinc downloaded more RAH work since there was no E@H work.

output file missing on S5R4 tasks

It's really an S5R5 task, but anyway, this could be related to a new version of the app (S5R5 3.04) being released for Windows. Depending on your personal firewall software, you might have to confirm that this is a legitimate app as it might now be blocked by the personal firewall.

Please let us know if this was the case,

Hi Bike,

I reviewed the logs of the firewall and there doesn't appear to be a blockage.
If there was I should have had an alert show up on my desktop saying it blocked it. From the logs it appears it accepted the new version and did a "create process" activity. I would guess it wasn't the firewall that caused this.
However, I did review the firewall files to be reviewed and cleared that list. Not sure if EAH was there or not, but it is in the safe files now if it was in that list. Lastly, it is still another 4hrs until my "penalty" time wears off and I can see if EAH will download again.

I will update you my tomorrow morning (gmt+2)

**update** - as of this morning whatever the issue was it has cleared itself.
the "penalty" time has expired and I am running a EAH task currently. it is 35% of the way into processing and no errors so far. must have been a glitch in windows or something. Thanks for your help.

s5r5 version 3.05 just showed

s5r5 version 3.05 just showed up on my firewall.
i just authorized it, but it caused a compute error on the one task i was running.
now...just have to wait and see if everything runs ok from now on.

it is possible that even though the firewall didn't show the problem on the earlier results it could be the source of the output files missing.

lets hope i can get past this rough patch and get back to crunching again.
