Have installed openSuSE 10.2 . ~/BOINC/run_client looks like that it was working (3 days ago)
~/BOINC/run_manager stopped with message:
./boincmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libexpat.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
The command locate shows:
locate libexpat.so.0
/usr/lib64/libexpat.so.0
/usr/lib64/libexpat.so.0.5.0
Command "run_client" seemed to work that time (memory usage abt. 90%), but since yesterday (28.Dec.06) no more work ist done.
My Computer ID: 533481 shows nothing on work that have finished since 28 Dec 2006 15:21:56 UTC

I had similar problems with BOINC 5.4.11 on SuSE Linux 10.1 then I switched to BOINC 5.7.5 and it works. But mine CPU is a 386 (Pentium II).

Reset or update the Einstein project, due the server downtimes your BOINC will not connect to Einstein for some days.

I used the recommended Version 5.4.11 und tried now the unstable Version 5.7.5 and: IT WORKS ! When i compiled it, there were few warnins, but when i started with "run_manager" (which was not possible under 5.4.11) it showed me all the finished WU´s. I clicked on "Project - aktualisieren" and all was uploaded and i got new work.
BOINC was down few days so my answer and this action above was delayed.

Dear Desti,
Thank You too for hint and assistance, meanwhile Einstein Project is again online and i downloaded the unstable newest Version 5.7.5 for Linux. Before with 5.4.11 it was not possible to run the manager program, and therefore no chance to give any command. All done WU´s seemed to be uploaded and Einstein´s WU´s are running again.
I am happy again :-)
