Some sort of OpenCL trouble

Some sort of OpenCL trouble may be around on that computer. I'd give reinstalling the Nvidia driver a chance. I'd download the current driver from the Nvidia site anew. During setup, choose advanced, check New Installation. Please report here if errors persist. :-)
Reinstalled Windows 10 Pro

Reinstalled Windows 10 Pro fresh from DVD (version is 10240)
Win setup my 4ea 1080 Ti with a Microsoft VGA driver
NVidia drivers wont install (I have tried about a dozen)
heard something about a DCH or DHC driver?
Yes this related to an Open CL prob along with some newish MS protocol(driver Nazi thing), I think applies to intel iGPUs but is bleeding onto my NVs
By any chance know of a workaround?
Thanks

Nvidia Installer prepares and checks System compat, then RedX stop with msg that it can't continue, the driver not compatible with this version of Windows.

Build 10240 was released in July 29 2015 and supported until May 9 2017. it's probably broken in every possible way by now... what comes to it being able to update itself. Most likely the Nvidia driver problem comes from that.
You would need to wipe that OS again and install a much newer build if you need that 1080 Ti to become compatible.
