I'm not sure if this is the same problem that others are having, but it seems similar. I've switching my screen saver from BOINC to something else, and I've turned it off, but neither help. I'm also running SETI@Home and it seems to be communicating fine...any suggestions?

Hi!

Your computer has recently completed one result and has downloaded two more to work on, all seems to be fine. The message you quoted appears when you pres the update button in the GUI but Einstein@Home has already reported any completed work and downloaded enough work for the near future.

You might be irritated by the fact that you have still 0 credits, but this is simply due to the act that every result gets crunched by two different participants independently, and for the result you submitted, the second vote is still not completed. as soon as the second participant submits this result as well, you'll get your credits.

Hi!

That makes sense - thanks! So I'm probably not having a problem with the screen saver. I'll try turning it back on and see what happens.

Thanks again!

Also having a problem. It

Also having a problem. It hasn't happened before, but as the deadline is VERY close, and I'd hate to waste all that searching ... any ideas?

When I try to update the project, I just get:

Tue 18 Sep 20:12:27 2007||General prefs: from Einstein@Home (last modified 2006-08-27 01:23:54)
Tue 18 Sep 20:12:27 2007||General prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults
Tue 18 Sep 20:12:27 2007||Suspending network activity - user request
Tue 18 Sep 20:12:48 2007||request_reschedule_cpus: project op
Tue 18 Sep 20:12:52 2007||request_reschedule_cpus: project op

Go to the BOINC Manager "Activity" menu and select either "Network activity always available" or "Network activity based on preferences".
