My einstein account has suddently stopped getting new workunits.
i have tried to update the account and even reset the account, but I am still not receiving any new workunits, even though I ran out of work yesterday.

I have not altered anything in the BOINC setup.

Anyone else experienced the same problem ??? and please do you have a solution ???

regards

Are you running other projects? Maybe your computer is overcommitted.

Well, it might be best to

Well, it might be best to learn why you did not get work, so when it happens again, you will know why.

BOINC works on a debt system, and as each project runs it gains a debt, if you finish all the units, and have a high debt, it will not ask for more work until the debt is paid back by allowing the other project(s) to even out.

I have one machine that does 3 projects. One is CPDN, and that is always on the machine, the other two a Einstein and SETI. I usually only see one of these two on that machine at a time, it'll run Einstein for a few days, then SETI, back and forth.

So, it's common to see one project not ask for work when doing multiple projects.

Message 45975 in response to message 45973

I recently have a problem with getting new work units. I am running Einstein@home,

QMC@HOME, and SETI. Would there be something wrong with the program? Do I have to

wait until my SETI account is finished before getting new work units? Would

somebody shed some light on this please?

Can you stop BOINC, restart it, and then copy and paste the messages tab for us. I looked at the machine in the online part, but it shows like it's not even requesting work. Those message can tell us why you are not.

Some things to look for:
Overcommitted, need more space, and there are others.
