I'm not sure but this is what I'd be thinking of...
1. Shut down all boinc activity
2. Copy the boinc folder to a drive that does have space.
3. Uninstall boinc (to remove registry entries)
4. Reinstall boinc using the new location (use same version)
5. Restart boinc. Hopefully it should continue on where it left off
6. If it fouls up, you've still got your original folder which should be OK.
While you are at it, why not reduce your "Connect to Network" interval under general prefs to something a *lot* smaller. Your main machine has a *boatload* of stale work which is just sneaking in at the moment but looks likely to start expiring shortly thereby giving you no credit. You don't really need to keep such a *huge* cache, do you?? I would recommend a connect time of 0.5 days. The more regular reporting will get yours and your coworkers' pending credits validated faster.
Anyway, perhaps a more knowledgeable person might comment on whether or not the above 6 step procedure will work. As I said, it's just an off the top of the head guess as to what might work. Other options might include using links.
Good luck!!
Cheers,
Gary.
yes, this helped. Thanks a

yes, this helped. Thanks a lot!
One note: I cannot set the connect time to 0.5 days since this is a notebook I'm working on and it is offline sometimes (not very often but I have to travel sometimes). I do updates as often as possible.

OK, I didn't realise that. If you don't travel all that much why not use 1 day while you are on line (most of the time) and then stock up just before you leave so at least they are all fresh at that stage. As you have it now, most of your cache would risk expiring if you were away for a few days and your machine was off for a bit.
Cheers,
Gary.
