Not contacting server after reboot

    I connect to the internet through a secure gateway (Actually Aventail Connect), which I need to start manually after a reboot. I have BOINC configured to start automatically.

    About 50% of the time, BOINC fails to recognise that the network is available once I have finished the Aventail login, and continues to fail its retries. An exit and restart always resolves the problem. The error message showing in the log refers to an error 106.

    Is there some way I can get BOINC to properly recognise the network is available?
