okay....... i have the setting:
"Suspend work while computer is in use? yes"

yet i keep getting a message from Norton:
"high CPU usage by einstein.exe" or whatever it's named.

what gives?

Norton is probably being over sensitive, but telling you that your cpu is being used by Boinc as it should be, at 100% when it can according to your settings. Boinc is designed to use 100% of your cpu but only when you say it's okay, which you do thru your settings. It sound like Norton is telling you it is performing normally, but Norton doesn't know about Boinc per se so says you may have a problem. If you can put Boinc usage on the ignore list and see if the notices stop. I don't use Norton so can't say if that is even possible.
