Hi, I have the problem that user vindictive claims to have. I completed two work units but got zero (not pending, zero!) credits. Why?
Of corse the two results were reported to late. But in many other cases I was also after deadline and credit was granted.
I am using v 4.19 of boinc.
Sorry to bore you, I found the answer for my question by myself. If I click to the result ID of the "zero credit work units" than I can see the reason:
"Validate state: Result was reported too late to validate" :-(

So you were lucky in the other cases.
If you're late, the WU gets send away again. If you get it back before the new guy/gal can crunch them, you're fine, you'll get credit (and I think s/he as well). If s/he is faster, bad luck.

Thank you, Saenger. Now I understand why I sometime get credits even if I am late with wu report. That means in my case there is no problem or bug.
If a result can't be properly validated, it won't give any credit. Perhaps someone else can give you some info on your specific error code

BTW, there are 2 results (one
)
BTW, there are 2 results (one pending, and another on your user page). That result shows up as invalid
