No work sent (daily quota of 8 WU reached)

I have been getting this message after uploading a bunch of WU results. Since I am the last one in the world to have dialup, I disable BOINC communication until all my work units are done....usually about 2 or 3 days worth....which amounts to 6 to 10 units on this particular machine.
After uploading these units, and trying to get more work, BOINC is telling me that I have exceeded my quota, when in fact I have not "downloaded" units to this machine in days.
It seems to think since I uploaded all this units at once that I downloaded them in the same day.
I am assuming that we are not being limited to 8 work units for all our machines, are we?
Usually I am not this dense, so please let me know what I am missing.

Your three machines ALL list 8 WU 'in progress'. Which machine are you talking about here?
