Cannot get new work...All the work pending is outside of being due; none of it is late. I have allowed new tasks to be dl'd. The message keeps reading "no requests for work" bla bla bla. Network is always available. Preferences are for 2 days. I gues the exception would be if I rrequested more work before then.

Is there a problem with the setup preferences?

Your Results for computer indicates you have 2 WU's "In progress". Are they not listed under the "Tasks" tab?

Yes, they are listed. For several weeks now my computer would request work and there would be several tasks to be completed. More form Eistein@home than from Seti. I understand that. I just don't know what could be different other tahn the server thinks I have more work still pending. According to the tasks button, I don't

BOINC may be adjusting it's estimate of how long it takes your computer to process an SR5 WU. If it started with too short an estimate then it would have downloaded more work than necessary at first. But it would also gradually adjust to what is really needed for your setting. Unless your computer runs completely out of work you should assume BOINC has everything "under control".

Edit: The new v4.24 application (made "official" this week) is significantly faster than the v4.02 app. (If you don't have it already, it should be downloaded to you soon.) Therefore, BOINC will be adjusting time estimates again - this time the other way. That could cause some temporary Einstein work shortages on your computer, especially if you only connect every 2 days.
