Curious if it's normal to get several WU's and have no wingman. My last 3 WU's still show the 2nd half of the run unsent.

I also notice that the WU I had before these three, (which I had an error on) has yet to be resent as well.

All that is quite normal.

There is something special here at Einstein compared to SETI and most others. For any given unissued work unit available, there is a great preference by the scheduler to issue it to a host which already has the quite large files required to process it. While many hosts are available on the project, they are viewed as very non-equivalent regarding suitability for assignment by the scheduler.

This has the odd effect that you can often find yourself sharing a work unit with the same wingman in close sequence. If you have a fast machine, or if for Internet connection or other reasons you ask for multiple work units in close succession, you can easily get out ahead of the other hosts currently available to process that particular work.

One of my hosts is a Q6600, and I have seen it get a dozen or more work units ahead of supply.

The good news is that it won't go on very long. Eventually the scheduler will send the necessary files to qualify new hosts and they'll get the work.

OK, thx. Just had never seen them come like that before and having several right after my last client error struck me as strange at the time. I should have guessed it was normal since it listed it unsent on my task page and is obiously part of how the system works. Appreciate the info.
