Hi, I'm an Italian physic student, and I installed BOINC Manager few days ago. I attached to Einstein@Home but when I click on "Show graphics" the screensaver won't show me stars and pulsars, but only constellation outlines and the crosshair. What's the problem?
Thank you

It's not what I should see: I can't see stars, pulsars and supernovae remnants, but just, as I said, the crosshair and constellation outlines.

You might also want to check

You might also want to check that you are running the latest graphics drivers, and have the latest version of DirectX.

There is some information on graphics from the BBC Climate Change experiment, which might help, here

Here's a screenshot of the displayed screensaver:

As I said, and as you can see, no stars nor pulsars.

Your video card is using

Your video card is using share memory with the computer. This causes some issues with the screen saver, and actually can cause crashing of models.

Also, make sure you have the latest video drivers and Directx drivers.

I am sure there are other explanations to your phenomenon.
